Project Ocean in Selfridges now!

The Ocean is certainly fertile ground for creativity and Selfridges has gone all out this week with Project Ocean. It brings attention to the important issue that the Ocean is under threat and helps us understand the issue and ways we can make positive choices to buy and eat the right fish. Handy little guides are available at all the tills and I’m finding out lots about fish! Luckily crab is ok but am afraid Dover sole is a no no!

The Concept store’s exhibition ‘Washed Up’ is beautifully brilliant. The landscape is created from dead coral seized from illegal smugglers at British Customs and kept in the Aquarium at London Zoo. Now drained of its colour, there is a deathly beauty to it which resonates with the issue.

Here are some truly inspiring pieces:

KITSCH KITCHEN – colour and fun for May!

Ever since I visited Kitsch Kitchen in Amsterdam I’ve been a big fan of their fun and fantastic style. The dutch always hit the spot and I’m very pleased to be presenting them at SS@Selfridges! So be quick! While stocks last!

We have some super cute pencil sharperners, which we’ve packed into jars…I love the frog prince! Animal water pistols, gorgeous oil cloth purses, toilet bags, make -up bags….all guaranteed to brighten up your life!
